Altered Piano is the spiritual sequel to our soundset Inferno, but where Inferno was built only around the famous "Burning Piano" samples in Omnisphere, Altered Piano casts a wider net and embraces all kinds of piano related sounds in Omnisphere, from normal sounding pianos, to noises, effects and weird accidents.

The goal behind Altered Piano started off with the simple idea of making dramatic piano-related sounds, meant for scoring and adding a bit of drama into music productions. But during the design phase, the soundset organically evolved itself into a much wider range of sounds, such as hits, effects, textures, pads and arpeggios.​

We also combined the single sounds into layered multi sounds.
